The opera „Cosi Fan Tutte“ is featured in a 2x45 minute best-of-version especially produced (with speaker) for 24hours Mozart.
The well-known film director Doris Dörrie, long established on the German cinema scene as a master of comic genius and famed for her bitter-sweet love stories, had passed her first test in opera direction with flying colours.
She staged Così fan tutte "as a hippie musical" under the motto: "To cheat on your partner or not, that is the question." This Così takes place some time in the 1970s, when the Flower Power revolution was in full swing and hippies were the trendsetters. Christian Sedelmayer created the stage for this occasion and also did the award-winning costumes. The direction is one of the great successes at the Berlin Opera house.
