On January 27th, 2006 the Chinese piano-phenomenon Lang Lang is going to celebrate the birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a performance of the Piano Concerto no. 24 in the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing.
The China Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by Long Yu.
The Forbidden City Concert Hall (formerly known as the Beijing Music Hall, Zhongshan Park) is situated inside the walls of the Forbidden City, among the well-manicured gardens of Zhongshan Park, directly adjacent to Tiananmen Square.
